Summer Program FAQs

What will students be doing at camp and what should they bring?

Campers will be outside roughly 95% of the time utilizing plenty of shady, forested areas and a creek to keep cool in. Indoor classroom space will be used for arts and crafts projects as well as for special presentations and as needed during thunderstorms, etc. We recommend packing sunscreen and a sun hat for use which teachers can help with. Also packing full water bottles and snacks each day.

Camp weeks are very similar from week to week but will differ slightly depending on the guest presenters (scientists, artists, craftspeople, builders, etc) who come and share their knowledge with us.

How will students be grouped?

There will be age-similar cohorts of no more than 10 students each with 1-2 teachers per cohort.
